Lestari Merchandise

It’s crazy to think that Sanggar Lestari was founded 30 years ago this year! In celebration of our anniversary, we have brought out a range of our very own merchandise, available for purchase to all our family and friends.

We are a dance and culture group based in Melbourne, and up until now, this group has been completely funded and run by its founder Ningsih Millane. Once a week, Mama Ning opens her doors to teach traditional Indonesian dances to all those who want to learn more about the Indonesian culture and immerse themselves in the Indonesian community. Today, Sanggar Lestari has over 15 dance members who dedicate their time weekly to attend these classes and learn to dance and perform around Australia and abroad.

To help sustain and grow our group, our Lestari member, Deena, has designed brand new Sanggar Lestari merchandise to sell to the public. All profits will help to purchase authentic traditional outfits from Indonesia and hopefully fund other community projects to allow us to continue to spread our culture.
